Practicum Courses

Choose one of the following courses:

  • BSC 386. General Ecology Lab. Two hours.
  • BSC 398. Undergraduate Research. Two hours.
  • BSC 497. Biological Sciences Internship. Two hours.
  • GY 483. Environment Science Internship. Three hours.
  • GY 494. Forest Measurement and Analysis. Four hours.
    • Provides students with a theoretical foundation and practical experiences in measuring, inventorying, and describing trees, stands, and forests. Students will collect and analyze real datasets and prepare technical reports. To successfully complete this course students are expected to demonstrate proficiency in field sampling and analytical methods used in forest science.
  • NEW 310. Independent Study: Internship. Three to six hours.
